What I want anyone reading this to know is that good therapy begins with safety and connection — whether that’s with me or with someone else — and that foundation matters most. Therapy is about gently unfolding the layers we build over time to protect what’s tender underneath, meeting you exactly where you are. I draw from mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, and psychodynamic approaches, shaping therapy around the person rather than fitting the person into a method. Influenced by Karen Horney’s belief that we aren’t problems to be fixed, I see therapy as helping you come home to yourself, not become someone different. I work with individuals, couples, and teens, creating a space where you feel seen, respected, and safe enough to be real. Healing happens through connection and being witnessed, and when safety and authenticity are present, growth unfolds naturally, one layer at a time.
